Ron Bonvie

Principal

Ron Bonvie, long-time Massachusetts resident, has 44 years of experience permitting, developing, building and marketing more than 2,000 new homes in communities throughout Massachusetts and Connecticut, including 28 years building active adult homes. Ron has been one of Massachusetts’ premier residential builders. His extensive experience in all facets of land development and residential construction, combined with his management, sales and marketing skills, assure the quality controls, which are necessary in complex developments such as the 750 homes at Southport.

Ron was appointed to the Board of Trustees of the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) 55-Plus Housing Council in 2013. He was one of the first homebuilders in the National Association of Home Builders to receive his CAASH designation as a Certified Active Adult Specialist in Housing. He is a National Alternate Director for NAHB, representing the Builders and Remodelers Association of Greater Boston and serves on the NAHB Education Subcommittee. He is past co-chair and founding member of the New England 55-Plus Housing Council.

In 2016, Ron has been featured on the cover of Cape & Plymouth Business magazine, The Boston Sunday Globe’s feature story on retirement communities and in the spring issue of Health & Wealth magazine. In 2013, Builder/Architect magazine featured Ron and his success at Southport. He has written numerous articles for NAHB’s Senior Housing News magazine and in 2015 wrote a feature story for Health & Wealth m on what boomers desire in a lifestyle community.

Ron has spoken at the International Builders Show in Dallas, Orlando and Las Vegas on how to successfully develop, market, and build active adult communities and at “55 Plus” housing conferences across the United States. He has participated in NAHB-sponsored national webinars on how to develop successful lifestyle communities. 

Frank Bonvie

Principal

Following in his father’s footsteps, Frank Bonvie is proud to be the fourth generation in a long line of family developers, builders and carpenters. Frank began showing interest in his father’s work at a young age. In 2011, Frank joined his father Ron at the national award-winning, active adult community of Southport in Mashpee on Cape Cod where he was given the responsibility of managing operations. Frank continues to manage operations at Southport and is also responsible for site acquisitions and new project approvals for Bonvie Homes.

Prior to Bonvie Homes, Frank had worked in real estate development, sales, and property management. Frank’s passion for construction and real estate development led him to pursue a Bachelor’s degree in Finance from Bentley University with a minor in Law. He graduated from Bentley in 2012 and continues to use his finance and accounting skills as a Principal of Bonvie Homes. In 2016 Frank graduated with his law degree from Suffolk University.

In his leisure time he enjoys traveling to such places as Asia, Europe, and South America. At home, Frank is a devoted New England Patriots Fan.

Frederic K. Frazier

Vice President, Sales & Marketing

Prior to joining Bonvie Homes in 2012, Fred Frazier served as Vice President of Sales and Division Sales Manager for Wayne Homes in Ohio for four years. Working for the largest “on your lot” homebuilder in Ohio, Fred managed a 10-person sales team that achieved over 200 new home sales per year representing annual sales of $28 million.

His responsibilities included sales training and hiring, overseeing the operations of four Division Sales Centers and implementing strategic sales initiatives that resulted in numerous sales awards for himself and Wayne Homes.

Fred’s real estate career began in 2001 where he served in multiple positions for one of the nation’s leading new homebuilders, K. Hovnanian Homes in Canton, Ohio. He initially served as Area Sales Manager and Community Manager prior to being named Director of Sales in 2005, a position he held for four years. In this capacity, Fred achieved annual revenues over $45 million while being responsible for six Sales Centers in the Ohio Valley. His duties also included all sales hiring and training, reviewing all sales contracts and assisting with new floor plan designs.

As Vice President of Sales & Marketing for Bonvie Homes, Fred is a member of the senior management team, overseeing all new home sales in every Bonvie Homes’ community. His responsibilities include hiring and training of new homes sales staff, supervising brokerage offices representing Bonvie Homes’ communities, and assisting with new product designs and finishes. He also works with production managers, the design center team and professional staff to help ensure the entire home-buying process at Bonvie Homes runs smoothly for buyers.

With his extensive experience in new home sales and marketing and his sensitivity to the new home buying process, Fred provides valuable insight in the planning of sales and marketing campaigns and the development and implementation of the company’s customer relations program.

Torrey Spilman

Senior Vice President, Business Development & Communications

Since joining the Bonvie Homes team in 2013, Torrey Spilman has advanced from Administrative Assistant, to Sales Associate to Communications Director. Now the Senior Vice President of Business Development & Communications, she is an integral member of the Bonvie team. Torrey is uniquely skilled at fostering relationships that have resulted in the acquisition of new developments and successful zoning changes throughout the region.

Torrey has a talent for maintaining big picture vision while considering the smallest of details. She manages and motivates her team, bringing diverse points of view and personalities together to deliver win-win outcomes whenever possible. Torrey’s job requires collaboration in all areas of the home building industry, including shaping projects from the conceptual, pre-development and planning stages, through due-diligence, zoning and permitting. She loves analyzing new development opportunities and overseeing strategy and sales/marketing programs for some of Bonvie Homes’ most high profile new development projects.

Torrey is a licensed real estate broker, a member of the Mashpee Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors, is involved in the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) and the Builders and Remodelers Association of Greater Boston Sales and Marketing Committee (BRAGB). In her free time, Torrey enjoys swimming and playing tennis, and is a published photographer. An avid reader, researcher, and consumer of news, she takes great pride in being involved in her community and has become a driving force behind broadening the philanthropic reach of Bonvie Homes, getting involved personally and professionally in giving back to communities throughout Massachusetts.
